doi: 10.1155/2015/514837
Figure Lengend Snippet: Summary of published results of wavefront-guided photorefractive keratectomy.
Article Snippet: The deidentified patients records were extracted from an electronic database with the following criteria: cases that underwent primary photorefractive keratectomy targeted for emmetropia and were available for 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months following operative examination; preoperative myopic refraction with less than 12.00 D of spherical myopia, less than 6.00 D of refractive astigmatism, and no more than 12.00 D of manifest spherical equivalent; surgeries performed with the Visx Star S4 IR excimer laser (Abbott Medical Optics, Santa Ana, CA) using a wavefront-guided ablation profile derived from a new diagnostic device (iDesign System); visual acuity correctable to 20/32 or better in both eyes and age of 18 years or older.
